Doppelherz® aktiv Active Meno contains a special combination of 500 mg calcium, 5 µg vitamin D3, B-vitamins and 50 mg soy isoflavones to cover increased nutrient requirements, and contribute to the well- being of women during and after menopause.
Soy isoflavones are hormone-like compounds that have been shown to reduce the frequency and the severity of menopause-associated symptoms, such as hot flashes. Calcium is an essential mineral which is required for building and maintaining healthy bones. It is the main constituent of the skeleton, assuring its structural stability. Due to hormonal changes during menopause, the capacity of the body to use calcium is reduced.
The composition of Doppelherz® aktiv Active Meno includes 5 µg Vitamin D3 which supports the intestinal absorption of calcium, and its fixation in the bones, thereby enabling optimal assimilation of supplied calcium.
